Virginia Satterfield Kines

Virginia Satterfield Kines of Oxford, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at the age of 66. Mrs. Kines was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, painting, baking, gardening and photography. Mrs. Kines loved classic rock music and her dog, Lucy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace "Bud" Satterfield and Carol (Breedlove) Satterfield.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Ryan Allen; sons and daughter-in-law, Lee and Windy Byrd, Darrell Kines, Walter Kines; grandchildren, Austin Allen, Mason Byrd, Alexis Allen, Mallary Byrd, Bryant Byrd; brother Butch Satterfield; as well as numerous other family members.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Kines will be held Friday, April 5, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday, April 4, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
