Penny Carter Obituary
Penny Carter of Oxford, passed away October 25, 2018, at the age of 65. Mrs. Carter was employed by Golden State Foods where she worked for 21 years. One of nine siblings, Mrs. Carter was a strong and dependable woman and was the rock of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony A. Carter; and daughter, Marsha A. Mitchell.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Natalie Lott, Michael Carter and wife, Amy E. Kiento, Gary Owen and girlfriend, Tamara Huber, Dana Kitchens; grandchildren, Troian Lott, Elric Lott, Meilee Dean, Lunaria Kiento, Elsenora Kiento, Mathew Owen, Melanie Denney, Carrie Mitchell, Jennifer Boyd, Stephanie Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Ariel, Cooper, Alice, Sophia; and sister, Teresa Wilson.
A Gathering of Friends will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 12:00 Noon - 3:00 P.M., at Way of the Cross Baptist Church, 646 Sigman Road NW, Conyers, GA 30012. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
