Kenneth Lazenby Obituary

Kenneth (Dawg) Lazenby, of Covington, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 61 years of age. Kenneth was a man who lived life on his own terms and was content with keeping things simple. He had a strong and reliable work ethic and dedicated 30 years to Mitchell's Used Auto Parts. Kenneth loved to be the one who could make others laugh, and over the years, he earned quite the reputation for being a "jokester". He appreciated a good meal and those that included steak, salmon, coleslaw, hush puppies or fries were among his favorites. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Eugene and Frances Lili (Gaddy) Lazenby.

Left to lovingly and fondly remember Kenneth are his sons, Kenneth Gerald Lazenby, Anthony Craig Lazenby; grandson, Christian James Lazenby; sisters, Kay Rutledge Fandel, Bonnie Lazenby Scarborough, Marlene Bradford, Tracy Lazenby; brother, Robert Lazenby; and uncle, Roy Lazenby.

A Graveside Service for Kenneth will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at New Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 190 Rocky Creek Road, in Mansfield, with Pastor Craig Arrington officiating.
