Jocile Turlington

Jocile Turlington, age 76, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Former owner and operator of JT Fashions in Conyers, Mrs. Turlington demonstrated daily her belief in hard work and self-sacrifice. She was also known and will be remembered for her role as a loving mother and attentive grandmother. Mrs. Turlington's chosen hobby was working with flowers, whether creating a beautiful landscape at her home or designing fresh-cut arrangements. Mrs. Turlington was preceded in death by her parents, Elwood and Florence (Campbell) Parker; and brother, Charles Parker.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, JoAnn Turlington, Debbie Turlington, Donna and Lamar Whaley; son and daughter-in-law, Billie and Angela Turlington; granddaughter, Ariadne Turlington; as well as brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Cammie Parker.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Turlington will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road in Covington, with Rev. Tanner Cline officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may visit with Mrs. Turlington's family at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
