Jason E. Self

Jason E. Self of Covington, passed away May 5, 2018, at the age of 35. He treasured being outdoors, whether it was fishing or hunting, and was known as a Grill Master. Jason was a self-employed diesel mechanic, and on his days off, he enjoyed working on trucks. He will be remembered as a loving father to his children.

Survivors include his fiancé, Rhonda Lester; daughter, Kaisley Self of Covington; sons, Tyler Self, Trace Self, Trent Self, all of Covington; parents, Nathan and Susan Self; sister and brother-in-law, April and Josh Dotson of Monticello; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan Wayne and Michelle Self of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Jason will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Max Clifton officiating. Interment will follow in William Payne Cemetery, Monticello. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 9, 2018, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, and again two hours prior to his service, from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM.
