Geri Brunson Obituary
Geri Brunson, age 88, of Newborn, GA, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 5, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Brunson; parents, Strother and Stella Shiley; and brother Sonny Shiley.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Sandi Young of Middleburg, VA, Deborah Booth and James Smith, Dewayna B. Pullum of Newborn, GA; grandchildren, Erica Young, Selena Booth, Kimberly Booth, Adam Booth, Shane Pullum, Krystal Pullum, Sidney Pullum, Ashley Smith, Chad Smith, Dylan Smith; great-grandchildren, Jordan Thomas, Gabby Thomas, Myles Thomas, Kinsley Booth, Haleigha Hall; brother and sisters-in-law, Carroll and Lea Shiley of LaGrange, NC, Patricia Shiley of Winchester, VA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Geri will be held Saturday, July 20th, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at Gaithers United Methodist Church, 1375 Newton Factory Bridge Road, in Covington. Memorial donations may be made to the American Stroke Association. www.strokeassociation.org
