George Germany Obituary

George Warren Germany of Myrtle Beach, formerly of Covington, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at the age of 76. In his younger days, Mr. Germany worked for Mathis Dairy and Atlanta Journal and was most recently employed with Future Security. He enjoyed the outdoors - whether hunting, fishing or just relaxing on the porch. Mr. Germany loved to joke around and make others laugh. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Mr. Germany was preceded in death by his grandson, Tanner Cole Germany; as well as parents, John Lindsey and Mary Eva (Price) Germany.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Larry Chandler; sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Lisa Germany, Ron and Amy Germany; grandchildren and spouses, Danny Chandler and wife Breeanna, Chad Chandler and wife, Krystal, Brittany Germany, Jordan Germany and wife, Courtney, Sara Germany; great-grandchildren, Paisleigh Chandler, Jada Chandler, Landon Chandler, Journey Chandler.

A Memorial Visitation for Mr. Germany will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
