Elaine G. Schremp

Elaine G. Schremp, age 78, of Covington, GA, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018. Mrs. Schremp was a graduate of College Park High School and a former member of East Newton Baptist Church. Her past participation as a Red Hat Society member reflected her fun-loving personality. Mrs. Schremp also liked shopping, boating and traveling. She adored her family and shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Elaina. Mrs.Schremp will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Arnold; parents, Hudson and Mattie Green; sisters, Joyce Cude, Sylvia Daniel, Dorothy Wolfe, Betty Pickren; and brother, Bobby Green.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Harry A. Schremp; daughter and son-in law, Cheryl and Barry Wallenhaupt; granddaughter, Elaina M. Brooks; sister, Carol Head; brothers, Billy Green, Jack Green; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A time to visit with family and a Memorial Service for Mrs. Schremp will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018, from 3:00 - 4:30 PM, at Rockdale Baptist Church, 1295 Smyrna Road SW, Conyers, GA 30094. Flowers should be delivered to Rockdale Baptist Church on Thursday, August 16, or Sunday, August 19, due to church office being closed Friday and Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockdale Baptist Church (Missions Fund - in honor of Elaine Schremp).
