Constance (Connie) Springfield

Constance (Connie) Springfield, of Social Circle, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the age of 72. Mrs. Springfield was a longtime member of The Father's House Church and an active member of Aglow International, a Christian women's group. She and her husband, William, were the proud owners and operators of Springfield Roofing, a business built on exceptional customer service and quality workmanship. In her younger years, Mrs. Springfield enjoyed playing tennis. Hobbies that were mainstays throughout her life included reading, traveling, painting and playing dominos. Mrs. Springfield was a caring sister, aunt and thoughtful friend who will be profoundly missed. She was preceded in death by husband, William Springfield; parents, Neville and Camille Conerly; and brother, Tim Conerly.

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Susan and Dennis Lantrip, Cathy Roy; brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Joy Conerly; several nieces and nephews; as well as her cherished cats, Arthur and Bella.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Springfield will be held Thursday, June 13, 2019, 10:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Tim Hogg officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. Friends are welcome to visit with the family, one hour prior to the service, from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Newton County Humane Society.
