Catherine Dee

Catherine Dee of Covington, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the age of 65. Mrs. Dee was a founding member of Harvest Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. In addition to spending time with her loved ones - especially her grandchildren - she also enjoyed going to the mountains. Mrs. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, John, Sr., and Marianna Moore.

Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Johnny Dee; daughters, Donna Anderson of Covington, Paula Vaughn of Sumter, SC, Gayle Tumlin, of Grayson, GA, Joan Frix, of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Benjamin Dee, Jr., of Covington, Robert and Alisha Dee, of Glenwood, GA, Dale Dee, John Dee, Jr., both of Covington; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anita and Tommy Dempsey, of Wichita, KS, Marianna and Ronnie King of Rockport, TX; brother, Donnie Moore of Galveston, TX; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dee will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Harvest Baptist Church, 2075 Highway 212, in Covington, with Rev. Richard Culpepper officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with her family at the church on Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help cover funeral expenses.
