Barbara Kines

Barbara Kines of Covington, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the age of 85. Affectionately known as "Grana", Mrs. Kines was a sweet and loving mother and grandmother. Some of her happiest times were spent going to the mountains, as well as the moments she sat relaxing on her front porch. Mrs. Kines, who was employed with Hercules for many years, continued to treasure the friendships she made while working there. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kines; and parents, Howard and Elsie King.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Young of Covington; granddaughters, Dawn Tripp and her husband, Jason, Jennifer Mask and her husband, Rick; great-grandchildren, Lauren Tripp, Allison Tripp, Megan Tripp, Miller Mask, Morgan Mask, Meredith Mask; as well as several cousins.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Kines will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, 3:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington with Pastor Jim Ross officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Circle, GA 30025.
