Robert Edward Palecek

Robert Edward Palecek, of Oxford, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 80. Mr. Palecek enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the casino. In his spare time, he liked working on computers. Mr. Palecek loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Charles, Palecek, Sr., and Inez (Wells) Palecek; brothers, Edward Charles Palecek, and Patrick Ronald Palecek.

Survivors include his loving, wife, Shirely Palecek; daughter, Barbara Jean Broadwell; grandsons, Logan Carter, Brandon Carter; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

A Graveside Service for Mr. Palecek will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, 1:00 P.M., at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, 5690 S. Sharon Church Road, in Loganville. Friends are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, March 26, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
