Yamile Matos Obituary

Yamile Matos of Covington passed away March 26, 2014. She was 48 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. Matos was a quiet and caring person who loved the Lord and attending church. She loved her family and will be remembered as a wonderful wife and a fantastic mother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Esperansa (Garcia) Acosta.

Mrs. Matos is survived by her husband, Jesus Matos; daughter, Caterina Matos, both of Covington; father, Jose Acosta of Delray Beach, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Lourdes and Marcos Perez of Hialeah, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Matos will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Pastor Samuel Aleman officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 28, from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
