Virginia Aaron Obituary

Virginia C. Aaron of Covington passed away March 26, 2016, at the age of 78. Mrs. Aaron was a lifelong member of Salem United Methodist Church. A member of the VFW Post 5290 Ladies Auxiliary, playing bingo and dancing were her favorite pastimes. During her working career, she was employed by Rockdale Hospital, and Town & Country Dodge for 12 years. Well known for her humor, Mrs. Aaron was always the life of the party. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles in her spare time. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Also, Mrs. Aaron, and her sisters shared a very special relationship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Hugh Aaron; parents, H.P. and Mildred Treadwell Christian; sisters, Glenda Lord and Martha Lester.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Denise and Junior Edwards of Covington, Lisa Aaron and Carolyn Davis of Conyers; grandchildren, Brian and Tracy Edwards, Beth Edwards, Alma Richardson; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Edwards, Jack Edwards; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Rogers, Ann and Paul Deerman all of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Aaron will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016, 2:00 PM, at Salem United Methodist Cemetery, 3692 Salem Road in Covington, with Rev. Charles Hodnett officiating. Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation Monday, March 28, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington.
