Violet Head

Violet Head of Covington, passed away March 24, 2015, at the age of 86. Mrs. Head was a faithful member of County Line Baptist Church. She was an exemplary Christian woman, who was faithful in studying God's Word and always willing to take care of others. She was a dedicated employee of Bibb Manufacturing Co., of which she retired after several years of service. Mrs. Head loved her family, her church family, neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Head; and her daughters, Kathleen Head and Carolyn Farnham.

Survivors include her grandson, Cody Head; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Head will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. J. Clifton Brown officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, prior to her service, from 12:00 - 1:30 PM. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to County Line Baptist Church, 3325 Highway 162 S, Covington, GA 30016.
