Susie Leachman Obituary

Susie "Gereline" Leachman of Oxford passed away November 13, 2015, at the age of 69. Gereline was a lifetime member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church. She always looked forward to the holiday season with her family. In addition, she loved music, especially country gospel, delighted in having breakfast at Mamie's with friends and liked working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Lucille Boss; and brother, Bobby Boss.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 52 years, Johnny Leachman; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and David Mitchell; son, Shannon Leachman; grandchildren and their spouses, Chandi and Hunt Brumby, Dusty and James Martin, Montana Mitchell, Michael Leachman, Savanna Leachman; sister, Joanne Hodges; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Virginia Boss.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Leachman will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, with Rev. JB Leachman and Pastor Lynn Head officiating and interment following in Cornish Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 14, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
