Reuben Yearwood Obituary

Reuben Yearwood, age 79, of Covington, passed away September 30, 2014. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and going fishing. Mr. Yearwood loved his family dearly, and especially cherished his time spent with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Howard and Lovie (Chambers) Yearwood.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Yearwood of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Yearwood and Jack Townsley of Hampton, Susan and Navroz Padania of Covington; son, Carl Yearwood of Covington; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Yearwood will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014, 4:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. J. Clifton Brown and Mark Yearwood officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 3, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
