Philip Battaglia Obituary

Philip S. Battaglia of Covington, passed away November 16, 2015, at the age of 60. Phil was employed by Pratt Industries as a truck driver for 30 years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially Braves baseball, NASCAR and football. Phil was a devoted husband and father who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Battaglia; and his sister, Lynn Olson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Battaglia; daughters, Jordan Battaglia, Taryn Battaglia; mother, Rita Battaglia; sisters, Leanne Adams, Loreal Mattingly, Amy Moon; brothers, Lowell Battaglia, Keith Battaglia, Steve Battaglia, Kyle Battaglia and Darin Battaglia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Phil will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015, 11:00 AM, in the chapel at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Adam Cooper officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 20, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
