Mike Hendrick Obituary

Mike Hendrick of Monroe, passed away June 11, 2018, at the age of 57. He was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, making him an official Army brat. His early childhood was spent in Charlotte, North Carolina, until the family moved to Georgia where he spent the rest of his life. Mike was an enthusiastic hunter that loved nothing better than being in the woods, or as he called it, his "church". He loved animals - especially his dog, Conway. Mike was a gun collector and a big fan of Westerns, John Wayne was a favorite. He was also an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Ann Hendrick.

Survivors include his daughter, Erin Hendrick; father, George Hendrick; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Tim Cartledge, Debbie and Bill Wallace; brothers and sister-in-law, Ronnie Hendrick, Ricky and Sherri Hendrick; nieces and nephews, Cody Mauldin, Lisa and Zach Ward, Ryan Cartledge, Brent and Emily Hendrick, Alexa Hendrick, Derek Hendrick, Adam Hendrick, Brian Wallace, Mitchell Wallace, Heather Stephens; best friends, Grady Crane, Craig Harrison; dog, Conway; grand-pups, Zoe and Jasper.

A Memorial Visitation for Mike will be held Monday, June 18, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:30 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
