Keith Studdard Obituary
Keith Studdard, of Covington, passed away December 21, 2014, at the age of 58. He was employed by Rockdale County Sheriffs Office as a deputy sheriff for several years until retiring on disability. Mr. Studdard was a member of High Point Baptist Church, Covington Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge #6, and held dual membership in the Madison and Loganville Chapters of The Order of the Eastern Star. In addition, he was an avid ham radio operator. Mr. Studdard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Francis (Smith) Studdard, and his siblings.
Mr. Studdard is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stanley Studdard; children and spouse, Mallory and Jason Burroughs, Tayler Hinton, Levi Hinton, William Hinton, Libby Stanley, all of Covington; granddaughter, Hailey Burroughs; sister-in-law, Beverly Studdard of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Studdard will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. John Deerman officiating. The Order of the Eastern Star will conduct their Memorial Service prior to leaving the chapel. Interment will follow in High Point Baptist Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Rites. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, December 22, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Covington Masonic Golden Fleece Lodge #6, Masonic Building, Covington, GA 30014.
