Juanita Elmore Obituary

Juanita Giles Elmore of Conyers, GA, passed into Glory September 24, 2016, at 81 years of age. Mrs. Elmore was known for being a lively and spunky spirit who never met a stranger. She enjoyed playing a clown for many years, especially for her friends and loved ones. Mrs. Elmore acted as Mrs. Claus for children every year at Christmas. She loved serving in her church and filled multiple roles there. Mrs. Elmore will be greatly missed by those whose lives she filled with love and laughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas M. and Lillian Giles.

Survivors include her husband of almost 60 years, Charles Elmore; sons and their spouses, Carey and Brenda Elmore, Danny and Terri Elmore, Jonny and Holly Elmore, 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Elmore will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 10 Almon Church Road, Covington, GA, with Rev. Mike Wadley officiating. At Mrs. Elmore's request, those who attend are asked to wear bright clothes and jewelry. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 10 Almon Church Road, Covington, GA 30014.
