Johnny H. Earwood

Johnny H. Earwood of Mansfield, passed away November 14, 2017, at 81 years of age. A truck driver for over 50 years, Mr. Earwood, in his spare time, liked to fish, cook, and shop with his wife, Patsy. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and husband. Mr. Earwood was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Earwood; parents, John and Bertha (Swinney) Earwood; sisters, Alice Faulkner, Martha Whitlock, Maye Ford; and brothers, Bobby Earwood, Bill Earwood.

Mr. Earwood is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patsy Earwood; daughters and sons-in-law, Lori Ann and Ronnie Bass of Blue Mountain, MS, Billie Ruth and Ricky Barbar of Corinth, MS, Tracy Lynn and Bruce Nelson of Mansfield; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy Vaught of Charleston, SC, Nancy and Bob Usurey of Fayetteville, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Earwood will be held, Sunday, November 19, 2017, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Jeff Clegg officiating. Friends may visit with his family, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
