Jerry Flynn

Jerry Flynn of Mansfield passed away July 15, 2016, at the age of 69. Mr. Flynn retired from Swafford Construction as Vice President after many years of service. He was an avid outdoorsmen who liked deer hunting and fishing. In addition, he enjoyed working on older model cars with his son. A loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Flynn; and parents, James Andrew and Luverta Cupp Flynn.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Haley Flynn of Mansfield; grandchildren, Sydney Flynn, Mason Flynn; sister, Betty Hodges; brother, Don Flynn both of Tennessee; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Flynn will be held Monday, July 18, 2016, 12:00 Noon, at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway, SE, Marietta, GA, 30062. Friends may join the family for visitation, Sunday, July 17, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington. Flowers are accepted, or contributions may be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Association Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
