Hattie Meeks Obituary

Hattie Sue Meeks of Porterdale, passed away September 13, 2014, at the age of 65. Hattie Sue was a caring person, who was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved her family dearly, and cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Sue Meeks; granddaughter, Teshia Barrington; and her parents, Dewey Lee and Thelma H. Meeks.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Delamar; sons, Frankie Harold Meeks, Torres "Shock" Shakia Guinn; grandchildren, Gennie Meeks, Ginger Meeks, Shawn Meeks, Little Frankie Barrington; brother, Dewey Nathaniel Meeks; nieces and nephews, Tequila Estep, Ace Meeks, Dustin Meeks, Nicole Meeks, Timothy Meeks; and her great-nephew, Easton Meeks.

A Graveside Service for Hattie Sue will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014, 1:00 PM, at Porterdale Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
