Grady Coursey Obituary
Grady Coursey of Porterdale, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017, at the age of 88. For over 30 years, Mr. Coursey was a mechanic for the City of East Point. Even when not at work, he repaired cars as a hobby. Mr. Coursey liked to watch wrestling on TV, read the newspaper, and
adored spending time with his granddaughter, Addie. He had a love for most things sweet, but Snickers bars were his favorite candy. Mr. Coursey was preceded in death by his daughters, Kathy Coursey- Boes, Rita Scheu; sisters, Joann Lee, Catherine Boyd, Dorothy Smith; brothers, Harvey Coursey, James Coursey, Clifford Coursey, Bill Coursey; parents, Oliver Thomas and Susie Irene (Hammond) Coursey.
Survivors include his granddaughters, Addie Davidson, and her husband, Hunter, of Olympia, WA, Amber Scheu, Corinn Scheu; grandson, Bryan Scheu; sister, Charlotte Hambrick; and sons-in-law, William Boes and Edward Scheu.
Services will be held at a later date.
