Enid A. Baker

Enid A. Baker of Covington, passed away October 30, 2017, at 72 years of age. Mrs. Baker was born in Jamaica, and moved from England to New York in 1982, where she worked as a Nurse's Aide. In 2007, after retiring, Mrs. Baker moved to Georgia to be near her family. In addition to being an excellent cook, she enjoyed knitting. A member of Voices of Faith Church in Conyers, Mrs. Baker cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 49 years, George Lloyd Baker; parents, Percival and Icilda (LaTouche) Davidson.

Survivors include her daughter Sharon Baker; son and daughter-in-law, Shaun and Grace Baker;
grandchildren, Travis Hemmings, Kamila Hemmings, Racquel Baker, Sheldon Baker, Justin Baker; great-granddaughter, Kaleigh Hemmings; sisters and brother-in-law, Pearlette Harris, Geneva and Newton Rodgers, Brenda Davidson, Monica Davidson; brothers, Lenox Davidson, Lloyd Davidson, Daniel Davidson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Baker will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017, 11:00 AM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, with Pastor Albert Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, November 17, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
