Beason Knight Obituary

Beason Knight, of Covington, passed away September 21, 2015, at the age of 84. Mr. Knight enjoyed fishing and was a hard-working man who took pride in everything he did. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his son, Benny Knight; and his parents, Leroy and Johnnie L. Knight.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Diane Knight of Phoenix, AZ; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Worthy of Conyers, Robin Knight and Johnny Parker of Ridgeland, SC; Tanya and Gabe Pompa of Phoenix AZ; son and daughter-in-law, David and Cathy Knight of Perry, FL; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Runelle and Billy Clay of Walnut Grove, Josephine and Wesley Brooks of Jersey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Marie Knight of Lawrenceville, Hulon and Patricia Knight of Walnut Grove; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Knight will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington with Hulon Knight officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, September 23, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
