Andy Grimes

Andy Grimes, age 50, of Covington, passed away July 13, 2014. Andy was a member of the Newton Hayriders & Crossfires Square dance club. He loved animals and enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Andy had a straight forward personality, never met a stranger, and he will be remembered for his amazing smile. He was loved by many, and will be missed by all of his friends and family.

Survivors include his best friend, Adam Jones; brother, Ricky Grimes; aunt, Ruth Henderson; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his special friend, Janie Bowles.

The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Tuesday, July 15, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A Memorial Service for Andy will be held Thursday, July 17, 1:00 PM, at New Life Praise Center, 3144 Stone Mountain Street NW, in Covington, with Pastor Justin Adams officiating. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
